In 1996, 15-year old Laura Sibley had a dream about owning a place that served good food and live music. This dream led the Sibley family to come across an abandoned bar that needed more than a little "fixing up". The Sibley family did just that, and re-opened the doors to The Palms on Halloween night, 1996. And the rest is history.
The Palms has not only become a full-fledged venue, showcasing live music, comedy, cirque, storytelling, burlesque and a much-loved regular open-mic night, but it it also has serves exceptionally tasty food at a cost that is reminiscent of days gone by. A meeting place for the wonderful locals of Wonder Valley (the unincorporated east end of Twentynine Palms), a quick stop for tourists passing through. an affordable family restaurant, and a place to see some amazing shows....The Palms has something for everybody.
